Al Madina A'Zarqa's participation in this exhibition aims to update the public about the latest developments in the Phase 1 of the city; such as the signing of Anantara Resort & Spa, the appointment of Thomson, Perrett & Lobb for the design of the 18-hole PGA-standard golf course and the rapid progress of construction on site.
The executives of Al Madina A'Zarqa updated the participants on the latest concept of the city development which includes a university, schools, hospitals, hotels, golf courses, shopping and entertainment centers and public amenities like health centers, police stations, mosques and municipal buildings.
"It is our honor to participate in this exhibition which is attended by the largest real estate and tourism developments in the region. We appreciate the support of the government especially the Ministry of Tourism, for inviting us to showcase the significance of Al Madina A'Zarqa as an integral part of the expanding economy of the Sultanate,"
says Richard Russell, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Blue City Company 1, the company tasked to deliver the Phase 1 of Al Madina A'Zarqa.
Mr. Russell added, "Such exhibitions are very important for us and this strategy gives us the opportunity to promote and publicize our development in Oman, which will be a leading destination in the region. The project is already destined to be a powerful growth engine for the Sultanate; helping the country in the diversification of its economy from fossil fuel."
Mr. Russell stated that Al Madina A'Zarqa project is not just another real estate development; it is a complete city with all the facilities and amenities that one would want and need in a thriving metropolis.
Arabian Travel Market gathered more than 14,000 participants last year from Middle East and Pan Arab region enabling the participants to have a wider reach and marketability.
Al Madina A'Zarqa is the fastest rising 32 km2 development in Al Sawadi, a 60-minute drive from Muscat. The city development will be home to more than 200,000 people including 10,000 university students. Al Madina A'Zarqa will radically expand the tourism facilities in the Sultanate of Oman and the City will become a world destination centering its economic development on trade, sports & wellness, medicine & healthcare, education, entertainment and tourism.
The City will generate large scale employment opportunities for Omani nationals, promote freehold property ownership for nationals and expatriates alike and serve as a hub for leisure activities in the Sultanate.
