The one day event took place under the patronage of the Minister of Labour Majeed Al Alawi. Batelco personnel were on hand at the IT Forum and Exhibition to meet BTI students and visitors and provide information about Batelco products and services that support the IT industry.
"The students were particularly interested in mobile and internet services with several of them buying SimSim packages during the one day event," said Batelco Group General Manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
"Many of those attending have previously benefitted from Batelco's Laptop offer which facilitates the purchase of high value laptops on an instalment scheme in tandem with Batelco high speed Broadband packages."
Batelco, as part of its commitment to participate in events that support various segments of the community, regularly takes part in programmes for educational establishments.
