The recruits are presently undergoing an intensive customized training program to get acquainted with the Bank's operations and procedures. The training will also enable the Bank to depute recruits to specific departments as per the recruits' skill-sets and aptitude.

Maliha Al Ayar, the Bank's Chief Human Development Officer, says:
"Investing in human capital is a key social responsibility of our Corporate Social Responsibility framework. By doing so, not only are we seeking to bring aboard promising talent, but equip new recruits with the necessary tools to carry forth the high service standards that we practice."

Part of the HRD department's recruitment-and-selection mandate is giving recruits from the youth generation opportunities to realize their potential and contribute towards achieving the Bank's business targets.

Burgan Bank also conducts summer internship programs for university graduate and post-graduate students, as well as ensures that recruited employees receive annual training programs to hone their competencies.
