The new edition off-road guides have all you will ever need to explore the spectacular wadis, dunes and mountains of the Emirates.

Suitable for experienced off-roaders and beginners alike, the diverse routes reflect that there's far more to the desert than vast expanse of sand and barren mountains. The natural beauty, wealth of history and the sheer thrill of adventure and discovery make this region endlessly fascinating.

These guides offer the reader a cross-section of information including detailed maps of each route, important landmarks, general information boxes, GPS coordinates, distance and duration of the route, besides safety tips and notes on preparation for the various terrain.

As a professional photographer, the author has also included striking new photographs to capture the essence of each route and give the off-roader a real sense of the destination.

In this new and more user-friendly format, these guides ensure that the reader has a safe, hassle free and an enjoyable journey.

"The Off-Road in the Emirates books have been one of our top-sellers for the last ten years," said Jonathan Griffiths, General Manager, Motivate Publishing Books. "With the new user-friendly format of the What's On Guides, and updated content, we look forward to the books becoming a must-have item for the region's many off-road enthusiasts. It is fitting that we launch the first of our What's On Guides just as What's On magazine celebrates its 30th year of publication and we look forward to building the Guides list in line with the magazine's continued growth."
