The mall is planning a memorable summer for its customers this year. As part of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group, Mercato will participate in the city-wide raffle organized by the DSMG; however, on top of that the mall will also be offering exclusive prizes which can only be won by shopping at Mercato.

With special offers and sales up to 75% plus an array of fun events and activities, Mercato promises to be a shopper's paradise for residents and tourists alike.

Amongst the events that are planned, the much anticipated Jumeirah Giant Charity Cake Sale will once again delight visitors to Mercato. Always a resounding success, this annual event has become one of the highlights of DSS in Dubai. Diarize Friday 26th June and show support for the Dubai Autism Center by purchasing a delicious cake... or three or four, baked by one of the hotels in the Jumeirah Group!

Rana Jaser, PR & Corporate Communications Manager of Mercato & Town Centre Jumeirah, said:
"We are committed to the government's economic initiatives. As we do every year, both our malls will be participating in the Dubai Summer Surprises. This year, for DSS, we will focus on different themes throughout the festival, such as Story Telling, Creativity, Fun & Food in order to create a very interesting calendar of events that change constantly. Being community malls, we tend to see many return visitors, so we aim to continuously offer something different in order to cater to our customers' expectations. All preparations are on schedule in order to ensure exciting competitions, informative workshops, colourful displays, entertaining performances and interactive activities for children of all ages."

Ms Jaser continued by saying, "We usually give special attention to the malls' decoration in order to put our visitors in the shopping mood. Mercato will be transformed into a summery holiday destination. Bright coloured embellishments will adorn the atrium, while the main stage has been designed to capture the children's attention in every way. Adding to the wonderful ambience the mall boasts we plan to showcase entertainment that supports the concept behind Mercato."
