Dubai customs participate in the Corporate Performance Management conference held in the US

Dubai Customs has participated in the 'Corporate performance Management conference-2009' held in Orlando city in Florida from May 4-7th, 2009.

Dubai Customs was also one of the sponsors of the event along with a number of international organizations working in the same field such as Spider Strategies, Balanced Scorecard Institute and Teliose group and some other related international organizations.

Miss. Hind Al-Yoha, Director of the Strategy and Corporate Excellence division at Dubai Customs presented a lecture entitled with 'Corporate Performance Management Construction Road Map' in which she demonstrated the nature of the division's work.

She carried on her lecture talking about Corporate Performance Management and the link between Dubai Customs and Dubai Government in terms of strategy and objectives, whereas she clarified that the objectives of the institutional performance at Dubai Customs are in line with the objectives of the Dubai government and within the overall strategic vision of the Emirate of Dubai.

Subsequently, Al-Yoha demonstrated the Road Map of Constructing a comprehensive Corporate Performance Management plan where the infrastructure of the Information Technology sector of Dubai Customs is put into practice towards developing the Corporate Performance in the division based on the abilities and the capabilities within the division staff without asking for any external help.

Al-Yoha explained that Dubai Customs is planning to reach more highly-efficient levels of the corporate performance management throughout raising awareness of the performance necessity among all workforces at Dubai Customs so as to create a spreading work culture and environment that is concerned with corporate performance management.

The audience has massively praised the Dubai customs experience of the Corporate Performance Management as they have requested the Modus Operandi related to this enterprise which reflects the level of excellence Dubai Customs has achieved in the Institutional Performance Management worldwide.

Miss. Hind Al-Yoha stated, "This conference is a golden opportunity for the division to be informed with the latest international practices in the field of corporate performance management as well as displaying Dubai Customs achievements regarding this matter, this event has presented Dubai Government in the most prestigious levels of advancement and pride on an international level."
