Luca Carati unveils its new and luminous 'Ginza' collection.
The collection pays ode to the luminous and attractive beauty of quartz, by featuring sumptuous shaped semi-precious stones like milky quartz, amethyst, onyx, moonstones and lilac hued chalcedony in white, yellow and rose gold settings sparkling with diamond brilliants.

The oval-shaped, smoothly polished stones position themselves as shy, unopened buds, protectively enclosed by curling gold tendrils. A highly feminine collection Ginza combines contrasting elements such as bold with delicate and warm hues with icy overtones to offer stylish women jewels of magic.

Ginza draws its name from the famous Tokyo region by the same name which literally means 'Silver Mint' after the silver coin mint established there in 1612 during the Edo period which marked the beginning of the early modern period of Japan.

The city is recognized as one of the most luxurious and fashionable shopping destinations in the world and this collection once again asserts Luca Carati's famed craftsmanship where purity of expression, the use of the finest precious materials and excellence of finish come together in dazzling alliance.

Commenting on the collection, Luca Carati's CEO Gianluca Buttini said, "Nature has played muse to Luca Carati's creative endeavours over the years, offering amazing options of adornment both for casual, daily wear as well as for evening glamour. One of the recurring themes that we as a design house explore is the blossoming of a flower, as seen in our Capri and Versailles collections. Whereas in our Clouds collection we seek to pay handsome tribute to those effervescent wonders of the sky, in sprightly designs rich in detail. We are positive that 'Ginza's Oriental appeal will be much appreciated by our growing number of fans in the Middle East."

Luminous and colourful, Ginza's jewels evoke an Oriental allure of femininity that is both shy and coy at the same time, while being fully aware of the power of its mystique. Hence in Ginza's pieces one finds bold forms of oval shaped semi-precious stones enfolded by delicate, tapering gold tendrils. Delicate pink gold chains dangle strikingly attractive moonstone pendants with curling tendrils sparkling with diamond glitter.

In Ginza, the coy resides alongside the adventurous to give women jewels of pure sophistication and class. And what's more, there's a colour to suit every mood or occasion from darkly sober to clear and luminous, transparent and sparkling to rich and colourful. This is Ginza's greatest selling point and its triumph as a design. In fact it is designed to satisfy the Japanese sense of design aesthetics with subtle Zen overtones.

And so Ginza matches silvery white gold with the royal purple of amethyst, milky quartz and lilac shaded chalcedony stones. And teams pink gold settings sprinkled with white and brown diamonds with milky aquamarine stones with aplomb, to offer statement rings and pendant chains of show-stopping essence designed to charm their way to one's treasure trove.

Incidentally, different kinds of quartz - cornelian, onyx, jasper, agate, amethyst, chalcedony, heliotrope, citrine and rock crystal - was used even 10,000 years ago in the Far East as decoration of religious subjects, weapon, clothes and household goods.

About Luca Carati:
The Luca Carati Company was born in Valenza (Veneto Region) in 1989, a combination of thirty years of professional productivity in a workshop with young, dynamic commercial management. In the last few years, the brand has been able to expand into the most important world markets, and today almost all of the production is exported. Its collections play on the balance between innovative and classical concepts, centering on diamonds in elegant and refined shapes which play absolute protagonists.

It is one of the few design houses where every jewel is produced in-house in all its phases. The synergy comes out fully in each piece created, reflecting the skill in the selection and combination of the precious materials and the ability in execution. Since 1995, the brand has reinforced its world market position through participation in the most representative jewel fairs - such as Basel, Las Vegas (Couture), New York, Vicenza, Hong Kong and Bahrain. In the Mid East, the famous Valenza brand has customized corners in Bahrain, Qatar and in exclusive locations such as the Hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The Luca Carati brand has not neglected the Orient in the last few years and has met with success in the Russian market with Japan too falling under the Carati spell.
