The initiative also aims to adopt the best international standards of sustainable development to maintain a clean and non-polluted environment.
Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence, said:
"The training used a variety of methods to actively engage participants with the experiential education style. It shared with the participants environmental education programmes of the UAE Government and the ecological values and challenges facing the region. It also looked at ways of bringing green education into regular activities of the property which included holding seminars, group discussions, outdoor exploration activities and trainer-led activities."
The training was attended by the management and the staff. Kamal Muhammed Azayem, Mechanical Engineering Expert of Dubai Municipality, delivered the lecture and stressed to create awareness in society related to pollution reduction, cutting down consumption of natural resources and lowering costs to enhance performance of the buildings to create a healthy environment at workplace and in residential areas.
