e-Learning is a way to consolidate distance learning, through this webinar, HBMeU will further elaborate on e-learning, to provide a wider, more comprehensive idea of what e-learning is, and what it means to learn and teach in the new global knowledge environment, as well as the art and science of being a teacher in the e-learning arena.

The Centre for e-Learning Excellence (CeLEx) is a pioneering department at the School of Continuing Education at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University; it was launched in 2008 in an aim to promote excellence in e-Learning in the Arab World through leadership, consulting, research and training services related to e-Learning, through this centre Hamdan Bin Mohammad e-University endeavours to hold periodic online seminars to further spread e-learning in the region.
Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University also offers various graduate programs related to online learning and teaching through its School of e-Education, such as MSc in Interactive Education Technologies, MA in Online Curriculum and Instructions, MA in Online Education leadership and Management, which all seek to enhance the capacity of educational staff to embark upon the latest global changes taking place in the field of e-learning worldwide.
