The production printing department of Toshiba will feature an extensive range of printers and multi-functional products such as the e-Studio 45/55/80 and FC 22i with optimised throughput (25 - 80 pages). Through the 'tandem operation', the optimum workload of both machines is ensured. In all operating modes, the FC 22i works with a high resolution of 600 dpi, which is made possible by a 4-beam laser printer unit developed and patented by Toshiba. As part of this 'cordless office,' Toshiba Notebooks can communicate with the Document Managers via a Bluetooth module. Not only can these modules serve as printers, but can also be used for Internet access.
Victor Microsystems, a leading provider of large format digital printing solutions, will feature a number of exciting products this year. Among the products are the OKIPAGE 14 Series printers which offer a print quality of 600 x 1200 dpi resolution, utilising Oki's microfine spherical toner for crisper characters and improved grey scaling for clearer text and graphics for letters, reports spreadsheets and overhead transparencies. The state of the art OKI C7000 Series digital LED colour printers are able to obtain optimum efficiency and speed outputting the first page in just 7.5 seconds and printing true 1200 x 1200 dpi colour output at 12 ppm and monochrome output at 20 ppm.

The EPSON Print Image Matching TM technology, developed by SEIKO EPSON Corporation and leading digital camera vendors, links the digital still camera and the PC printer, giving the camera control over printing, with data usually lost in the process being passed right through to the prints. Digital camera vendors introducing this technology include leading names such as Nikon, Olympus, Sanyo, Minolta, Konica and Sony.
