PICTI and Microsoft launching the PalDev.net community

Microsoft Corporation in cooperation with the Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator launched the PalDev.net Community.
Eng. Hasan Omar welcomed Microsoft representatives and expressed gratitude to Microsoft for their cooperation & support of the Palestinian Information & Communication Technology Sector. The objective at this point is to raise technology awareness by creating communities of programmers & IT specialists to increase their skills and qualifications.
This can be achieved with the continuous cooperation of Microsoft in conducting workshops and training on the latest technologies. Where recently Microsoft supported training for 9 Palestinian IT specialists through Palestine IT association of companies (PITA) on Microsoft SharePoint 2007 in Amman -Jordan.
Mr. Nasseem Tuffaha was proud to launch the PalDev.net community and expressed Microsoft's readiness to continuously support such initiatives for its belief in spreading entrepreneurship and innovation culture. Mr. Nasseem also presented the latest in Microsoft technologies and tools to support such initiatives. Examples on how to best apply the tools were explored, followed by an open discussion with the attendees.
