The annual event, organised by KOC's marketing department, was held in the company's Unity Club in Ahmadi with more than 20 exhibitors providing valuable offers and travel insights for KOC visitors.

Designed as a travel fair, KOC's marketing team sought the co-operation of various airlines, travel agents and hotel booking agencies to help KOC staff and their families with their annual holidays.

KOC has around 6,000 employees and with their families this adds up to more than 25,000 potential travellers, representing a significant market opportunity for all exhibitors. Wataniya Airways provides a premium travel experience to popular destinations in the Middle East, including Dubai, Beirut, Bahrain, and Cairo. From early June, the airline is flying to additional destinations including historic Amman and Damascus and trendy Sharm El Sheikh.

These flights are made possible by the addition of Wataniya Airways' 3rd brand new Airbus A320 aircraft. The latest addition to the airline's fleet arrived in Kuwait on the 20th of May, enabling it to expand its network of routes to short-haul destinations throughout the GCC and Middle East.

Mr. Abdulsalam Al Bahar, Chairman and Managing Director of Wataniya Airways, said:
"The arrival of our latest aircraft will enable us to provide more opportunity to our guests to fly to their preferred destination in style and comfort. We are delighted to be a part of KOC's annual travel fair and have this opportunity to present the benefits of First Class and Premium Economy offering, both on the ground and in the air."

He added, "KOC should be commended for organising this for its employees as it brings together professional industry service providers to deliver important travel advice and support to its staff and their families in what is often the most anticipated annual trip they make."

Wataniya Airways ticket bookings can be made using a range of convenient methods; calling the Guest Contact Centre on 118 in Kuwait; via Wataniya Airways website or through a preferred travel agent. Wataniya Airways' website now accepts debit card payments via KNET, providing guests with more payment options and allowing them to save more on their tickets with online reservations.
