Last year, women couldn't get enough of the "Pob" made famous by Victoria Beckham. With every new trend comes a fresh set of skills for hair-dressers, but how can women be sure that their trusted stylist will know how to give them the ultimate fashion trend?

Wella Professionals has introduced Personalized Trends 2009 - a new service offered at leading salons throughout the GCC, which allow hair-dressers to give women the most sophisticated and fashion-led consultation.

Salons will now be able to offer women around the region the most up-to-date expertise, service innovation and Wella Professionals styling products to recreate the hottest styles and personalize a trend to any face shape and hair type.

Personalized Trends 2009 includes four fashion looks that are inspired from Trend Vision 2009 (TV09). TV09 showcased four cutting-edge hair designs created by the international Wella Professionals styling team with the collaboration of global trends agency, Carlin International. With TV09 outlining the emerging shapes and catwalk creations, Personalized Trends takes these looks and translates them to high street fashion styles.

The transition from avant-garde to high street fashion began in the Wella studio in Milan, where Europe's top stylists and Wella Professionals' Global Creative Director, Josh Wood, descended to create the hottest 2009 hair trends. Styles were not only created from the TV09 looks, but also took inspiration from leading celebrity looks, popular films and the latest salon trends.

Josh Wood, Wella Professionals' Global Creative Director, said:
"We've created four looks that optimise the future of hair for 2009, each look can be truly personalized to fit each woman's needs and desires."

Personalized Tends 2009 will hit Wella Professionals salons throughout the GCC in May, highlighting the future direction of salon styles for the year and ensuring that Wella Professionals salons are at the forefront of hair fashion trends. The exciting new looks will include:

1. Pastel Service - The new pure blonde is the cleanest of the blonde looks, seen in airy cuts and styles.

2. Sensuous Service - Feminine waves and rich curves in complete anti-frizz control and warm, luscious colours full of depth and dimension.

3. CrystalGloss Service - A play of round and square cuts, cool colours with a crystal, long-lasting shine finish in just five minutes.

4. Colour Accents Service - The youngest of all trend looks with accentuating 3-D colour effects.
