Mawarid Finance organizes forum to discuss Islamic finance

Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Mawarid Finance Group of Companies will organize in coordination with all departments in the emirate the fifth discussion forum.

The event will be held on Wednesday 27th, May, at 7:00 p.m., at Alf Lela Wa Lela Wedding Palace, Umm Al Quwain.

The new discussion forum will address the concept of Islamic finance, the role of government departments and the private sector and other supporters of small and medium enterprises in alleviating all obstacles faced by the young business leaders including business concept, feasibility studies, launching and marketing their products in addition to raising awareness of investment opportunities available inside and outside the emirate.

In the attendance there will be decision makers and high profile officials who represent departments concerned with SME sector including Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Economic Department, Municipality Department, Investment and Development Office, Ministry of Labor, Social Development Center, Khalifa Fund and Ruwad.

Al Neaimi indicated the previous discussion forums organized by the Group in Abu Dhabi in association with Khalifa Fund, in Dubai with Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, in Ras Al Khaimah with Saud bin Saqr Program and in Ajman with Businesswomen Council in presence of representatives of all departments concerned with SMEs as well as small and medium entrepreneurs.

"We are keen to ease all difficulties faced by SMEs and to open new horizons for them to give boost to the UAE national economy by organizing such events throughout the United Arab Emirates within Falak Tayyeb business campaign with government and private organizations being involved on large scale with an aim to cast light on obstacles and ways to overcome them," Al Neaimi said.

"These events will help SMEs realize their visions, attain their objectives and meet liabilities of credit risks; the event will also address media role in providing support to these enterprises as well as the legal aspects relevant to SMEs," he added.

Humaid bin Salem, Director of UAQ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his highly appreciation of Mawarid Finance's initiatives encouraging the youth to enter the realm of investment by addressing their concerns; bin Salem also confirmed that the Chamber is providing all expertise, services and support to SMEs.

Dr. Mosabeh Rashid Humaid, Director of UAQ Municipality stated that these enterprises start small but gradually grow to become leaders and such initiative will give great results beneficial to the national youth who will attend and participate to this event aiming to develop enterprises.

Issa Al Fardh, Director of UAQ Economic Department stated that the department will be involved in this event and the like ones due to their various results which will enhance many nation- wide goals such as Emiratization and corporate social responsibility committed to by companies like Mawarid Finance which would like to play an effective role in the process of national development based on principles considered as cornerstones of leading companies.
