Aramex signs agreement with Vodafone Qatar for integrated logistics services

Aramex, the global logistics solutions provider, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Vodafone Qatar Q.S.C (Vodafone Qatar), one of the region's new mobile telecommunications operators, to provide express and logistics solutions in Qatar.

Under the terms of the contract, Aramex will provide a range of integrated logistics and express services for Vodafone Qatar, including network logistics, retail distribution, logistics management and support of various marketing initiatives.

The agreement with Vodafone Qatar further expands Aramex's growing portfolio of telecommunications companies in the region and enhances its servicing capabilities for the sector.

"Our partnership with Aramex is in line with Vodafone's strategy of partnering with the leading service provider capable of providing flexible and customised logistics solutions to help us meet our business goals," said Dean Roscherr, Head of Distribution, Vodafone Qatar.

"As a reliable and experienced logistics service provider with a proven track record servicing telecommunications companies, Aramex's knowledge and expertise in the sector will be of great value for Vodafone in further enhancing its logistical efficiency and streamlining its retail delivery and distribution channels in Qatar," Roscherr added.

As part of the contract, Aramex will further provide a range of services, including express and freight shipping, inventory management, and provision of warehouse space for storage of handsets, SIM cards and marketing material. Additionally, Aramex will provide Vodafone Qatar with key value-added services including a break bulk facility at Vodafone's main station fully equipped with steel shelves, CCTV system and smoke detectors, as well as packing and dispatch.
