Kipco makes 2009 awards

Kipco, the Kuwait Projects Company has announced its Group Gala Dinner 2009 awards.

As part of its annual Group Gala Dinner event which brings together senior managers from all of its operating and associate companies, Kipco makes awards to the best company of the year and the best employee of the year from each company.

The awards were presented by Kipco Board Director, Mr Abdullah Bishara. The event was held at the Sheikha Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah Hall in Salmiya.

The 2009 Kipco Group Company of the Year award was given to Bank of Baghdad in recognition of the terrific performance during the last 12 months.

The 2009 award for Best Employee of Kipco Group was given to Group Chief Internal Auditor, Mohsen Ali Husain for the excellent communications skills. Kipco's Best Employee of the Year 2009 award was given to Group Vice President, Finance and Operations, Mazen Hawa for excellent interpersonal skills, promptness and integrity.
