UOWD to host Bahrain Foreign Exchange (BFX) workshop on impact of recession on region's financial exchanges

The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) will host a workshop entitled "The BFX and its forward-thinking strategy amidst challenging times" conducted by Mr. Arshad Khan, Director BFX and Mr Simone Carminati, Senior Vice President and Head of BFX Training Academy, on Sunday, 31s May, from 3 pm to 5 pm at UOWD, Dubai Knowledge Village.

The workshop will help participants understand market dynamics by interacting with a leading financial exchange in the region and will assist participants about the nuances of the industry and BFX's ideas on the following:

- How has recession influenced the region's financial exchange markets?
- Can the right policies turn adversity into opportunity?
- How is Bahrain coping with the challenges in the financial services industry?
