This new rule is applicable to all Oman Air flights departing from Muscat including domestic flights and will be effective from the 1st of June. Passengers can check-in online from 24 hours to 3 hours before the flight's departure by accessing their website. Passengers flying Oman Air are welcome to check in their baggage from eight hours before the scheduled time of departure.
Commenting on this move, David Thomas, General Manager, Customer Services, Oman Air, said:
"This move is to ensure an 'On Time Departure' for all Oman Air flights. We have introduced in the recent past many measures to ensure that our passengers travel with comfort, safety and reach their destinations on time. Oman Air's On Time Departure and Arrival has been very consistent and has been appreciated by all passengers. At Oman Air we are enhancing every aspect of our services so that all travelers will enjoy a more pleasing travel experience."
