Batelco launches fastest mobile broadband network in Bahrain

Batelco is the first telecommunications company in the Kingdom of Bahrain to deliver Mobile Broadband with download speed up to 14.4Mbps.
"Batelco's customers now have access to the fastest mobile broadband service available in the Kingdom, giving both Batelco and its subscribers the competitive advantage when it comes to swift mobile communications," he added.
Batelco's O-net customers and those with HSDPA enabled devices will now be able to download bigger emails and attachments on the go, and also music and videos, faster than ever before. They will also benefit by an enhanced video conferencing experience with sharper pictures and better speed.
To access Batelco's Mobile Broadband service from a laptop or PC, customers may purchase one of Batelco's O-net Plug & Play devices. Batelco offers a variety of O-net devices, including the smallest, lightest and most technologically advanced model available in the Kingdom.
A variety of packages are available for O-net Mobile Broadband. Batelco offers a fantastic choice of 9 post paid packages starting from as low.
Regardless of the package chosen, Batelco's customers can benefit from speed of up to 14.4 Mbps, reliable coverage and speed which is not affected by weather changes, as is the case with WiMax, and furthermore they can depend on round the clock support from Batelco Helpdesk should they require it.
Batelco also offers an O-net prepaid package and was the first telecom company in the Kingdom to introduce such a package. The Prepaid package comes with free SMSs and a variety of refill methods for your convenience. Additionally, customers can monitor their usage by requesting their balance to be sent via SMS.
