Dubai Chamber supports No Tobacco Campaign

Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry - in association with the Ministry of Health, Dubai Healthcare City and Ex-Health - organized a workplace seminar at its premises recently.

Dubai Chamber also announced its sponsorship of the Quit & Win competition which is part of this initiative.

The workplace seminar included: a skit play by students from Delhi Private School, Sharjah; a presentation from the Ministry of Health and Dubai Healthcare City; health check ups from doctors; the launch of a pledge and competitions to encourage and support employees who wish to quit smoking.

Leena Al Abbas, Executive Director, Marketing, Corporate Communications & External Relations, Dubai Chamber, pointed out that the Chamber's support of the No Tobacco campaign shows its commitment to socially relevant issues that impact businesses.

Said Al Abbas,

"Dubai Chamber is very proud to be sponsoring the No Tobacco campaign. Which is in line with Dubai Chamber's strategic objective of creating a favorable business environment in the Emirate. The effects of smoking are huge, for us, our families, our organizations and the broader society."
