As leaders in sustainable community development, both Qatari Diar and Barwa are central to the real estate sector in Qatar.
As a sign of confidence in the strength of the Qatari economy, Qatari Diar recently introduced Cegelec, a new member of the Qatari Diar family,to leading Qatari business executives and companies.
Cegelec is a global leader in the technological services market supporting systems and sub-systems for the industrial, infrastructure and tertiary sectors.
Cegelec is an integrated company offering a complete technological service cycle to the customer, from design to installation to maintenance.
Commenting on Qatari Diar 's participation Eng. Mohamed Bin Ali Al-Hedfa, Qatari Diar 's Deputy CEO of Business Development, and CEO for Lusail Real Estate Development Company, said:

Visitors to Qatari Diar and Barwa's exhibition stands have been learning about some of Qatar's most significant projects including Qatari Diar's flagship project Lusail City.
Lusail is a 35 square kilometre city which will accommodate 200,000 residents, 165,000 workers and 90,000 visitors in a meticulously planned urban development.
Commenting on Barwa's participation, Mr. Khalid Al Delaimi, President of Qatar Developments, said: "Qatari Diar and Barwa are extremely proud to be the strategic sponsors of Qatar's pre-eminent real estate and investment exhibition. With our strategic range of projects; locally, regionally and internationally; both conglomerates are leading the way in creating a better environment for life through developing visionary projects that will work for the well fair of Qatar."

One visitor to Q-Rex told staff at the Qatari Diar exhibition stand "the size of the projects that Qatari Diar and Barwa are undertaking are awe-inspiring. I am truly impressed by the size and ambitions of projects such as Lusail and Urjuan".
In its fourth year, Q-Rex has become the premiere international exhibition in Qatar for real estate and investment.
Q-Rex brings together hundreds of companies from the GCC and abroad to offer opportunities to showcase projects and real estate investment services, as well as meeting decision-makers to present the findings in the latest investment opportunities in the domestic and international real estate sectors.
Qatari Diar, an investment company of the Qatari government, is wholly-owned by the Qatar Investment Authority. Barwa Real Estate is 45% owned by Qatari Diar.
