VIVA introduces GPRS service for international roaming with local tariff

Starting from the 1st of this coming June, "Viva" Telecommunications Company introduces a new tariff with a local pricing for the GPRS service to "Viva" customers through Data Roaming service.

This is a new surprise added to the services package always offered by "Viva" to its customers because "they deserve the best."

CEO Najeeb al-awadhi explained that this service enables the customers to benefit from the data service through Data Roaming, so they can browse their emails and MMS, in addition to other included services offered to mobile users through the GPRS technology. Al-Nahedh pointed out that the new presented pricing for this service is considered a competitive edge, since the client can get 10 kb for only 10 fils, whereas the previous tariff was 10 kb for 60 fils. This means that the customer will enjoy the service for a local tariff which is 10 fils.

The Networks


Al-awadhi indicated that the operators whom "VIVA" customers can use this roaming facility with to benefit from this service are Batelco (Bahrain), Vodafone (Egypt), Omniah (Jordan), Jawwal (Saudi Arabia) and Du (UAE) networks.

New Services


Najeeb added that "Viva" customers will always be to date with more new services and additions presented to them by "Viva" Company to gain their satisfaction. She noted that the next period will witness more and more of services because "Viva is possible.
