Vice President/Marketing, Sales and Services Hussein Dabbas said that the decision to increase the frequency of daily flights was taken in light of the growing demand on travel between Amman and Beirut during the summer season.
He added that the move give businessmen and investors great flexibility to conduct a round trip on the same day.
Dabbas said that the additional flight leaves Amman at 4 pm and arrives in Beirut at 5 pm; it departs from Beirut at 5:45 pm and arrives in Amman at 6:35 pm. He said that the new service is a perfect choice for tourist groups traveling from Amman to Beirut.
According to Dabbas, Royal Jordanian will also increase its flight frequencies to several destinations on its route network this June, like Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain, catering to the rising demand of travel between Amman and these cities, particularly in the peak season.
Beirut is among the first destinations RJ operated to with a regular flight in 1963.
