Royal Jordanian boosts its service to Beirut by four daily flights

Starting with June 2009, Royal Jordanian, the oneworld member, will add a new daily service to Beirut, a fourth daily flight, bringing the weekly flights between the two cities to 28.
He added that the move give businessmen and investors great flexibility to conduct a round trip on the same day.
Dabbas said that the additional flight leaves Amman at 4 pm and arrives in Beirut at 5 pm; it departs from Beirut at 5:45 pm and arrives in Amman at 6:35 pm. He said that the new service is a perfect choice for tourist groups traveling from Amman to Beirut.
According to Dabbas, Royal Jordanian will also increase its flight frequencies to several destinations on its route network this June, like Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain, catering to the rising demand of travel between Amman and these cities, particularly in the peak season.
Beirut is among the first destinations RJ operated to with a regular flight in 1963.
