"The opening of the centre in Riyadh demonstrates Western Digital's commitment to provide best-in-class support to partners and resellers across the MEA region and Saudi Arabia in particular, recognizing its position as a key regional market. To date, our plan is on track, with the roll-out of regional service centres designed to give our customers peace of mind, knowing that they have easy access to local technical support."

said Khwaja Saifuddin, Sales Director, Western Digital, Middle East & Africa.

The collection centre processes Return Material Authorization (RMA) disc drives at one central location, to enhance post-sales services to Western Digital's local customers in KSA. Western Digital's authorized partners can now process returned drives much more quickly and in a more economical way which benefits both them and their customers.

The establishment of the Collection Centre in Riyadh highlights Western Digital's enhanced investments and greater focus on sales, marketing and support initiatives, to maintain the company's strategy for MEA as a major growth market for its industry-leading storage products.
Western Digital currently has dedicated collection centers located in Istanbul, United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
