Diyar Al Muharraq sponsors Bahrain Businessmen Association's monthly meeting

Bahrain Businessmen's Association 43rd meeting held yesterday (Sunday the 31st of May) at the Al Fanar Hall, Bahrain Exhibition Centre.
As part of the meeting, a presentation was made by Mr. AbdulHakim Al Khayat Chairman and Mr. Aaref Hejres CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq entitled 'Diyar Al Muharraq City For All' wherein the Chairman and the CEO briefed the members of the association on the various aspects of the 12 sq km development, focusing on the project's vision of providing quality community living within the framework of high environmental standards.
The presentation also highlighted the various opportunities offered by Diyar Al Muharraq for potential investors through its combination of residential, commercial, educational, retail, medical, and tourism facilities.
Commenting on the presentation, Mr Abdul Hakim Al Khayat said, "We are confident that the scale and offerings of Diyar Al Muharraq combined with the pricing strategy will result in a significant injection of investments and creation of thousands of jobs to support the local economy."
"The development will continue to contribute towards macro economic factors including creation of a vibrant business environment and assisting in achieving sustainable economic growth for the Kingdom. Above all it is our resolve to create an environment that provides an exceptional quality of life for all Bahraini society," he added.
Other issues discussed by the members in the meeting included the prevalent global financial crisis and its impact on the national economy, in particular the private sector, and what plans can be put in place in order to mitigate its effects.
Such endeavours by the Bahrain Businessmen's Association were lauded by Mr. Aaref Hejres, who said, "We are honoured to be a part of this meeting and will continue to extend our support to the ongoing initiatives of the association which emphasize leadership, communication and community involvement in private sector enterprises."
