The course includes modules on online threats and how to prevent fight them, comprehensive system anti virus protection, configuring and running virus scan tasks well as certification on Kasperky Lab internet security and antivirus product installation, administration and management.
Tarek Kuzbari, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab, Middle East, said:
"The courses target existing customers, partners, personal users and technology students from across the GCC and will be delivered by Kaspersky Lab and ComGuard specialist trainers."
He added, "This initiative is yet another step demonstrating our commitment to the region following the inauguration of our first Middle East office in Dubai last year. Kaspersky Lab always wants to make a difference to the overall product experience rather than simply move boxes. Moreover, the timing of this opening is highly relevant as a recent spate of cybercrime and malware threats in the region have urged people to improve their computer literacy. ComGuard was appointed Kaspersky Lab's Middle East-wide value added distributor in 2006 for its entire security product range."
"This relationship has grown from strength to strength and today we have put in place a robust and comprehensive reseller network and significant on-ground technical support capabilities," said Mohammed Mobasseri, Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing, ComGuard.
