Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager Corporate Communications at Emarat, said that the Corporation's commitment in sponsoring this event which established its success and distinctions since its first year, and which became a well known event throughout the UAE, is in accordance with Emarat's endeavor to adopt and support various activities nation wide, as well as acting upon its social responsibility which is one of the core values in the Corporation's identity, as well as achieving all the goals which can further enhance the economic and commercial growth in the UAE.
Mr. Kazim further added:

Furthermore, Mr. Kazim expressed his optimism that Emarat's participation during this year's event will further enrich the event and add to its surprises a real value, as it plans to launch a number of initiatives and promotional campaigns which will give the visitors, especially the children and their families, opportunities to win a lot of valuable prizes when they shop at the service stations and the various Corporation's retail outlets, which will add even more fun and happiness to the Summer Surprises.
The new promotional campaign will give the chance to anyone who spends a specific sum in shopping from Emarat service stations, on non Fuel products, to enter the draw for the daily prize of an Em-Cash card, in addition to an opportunity to enter the draw for the grand prize, which includes a Chevrolet Corvette, cash, vouchers to spend at Dubai Festival City, vouchers for home furnishing, vouchers for electronics, fuel, vouchers for gold jewellery, recharge cards from "du", Auto-care services and airline travel vouchers. All the prizes are subject to terms and conditions.
Mr. Kazim also said that Emarat has recorded a satisfying increase in its sales during Dubai Summer Surprises 2008. This increase was achieved through unique promotions and valuable prizes which were offered to our customers.
He also praised the efforts of the retail sales team at Emarat which had prepared and organized the different stages of the campaign, stressing on the execution of the campaign plan in the service stations which was carried out through a perfect approach which complies with the Corporation's aims and goals of sponsoring this great event.
Mr. Kazim also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the higher organizing council of Dubai Summer Surprises, in addition to everyone who is working on it, and to Emarat's partners in this year's surprises, for supporting this campaign and their valuable participation in its success.
