Bevan Lane is an Information Security / IT Risk Consultant with vast experience performing IT forensics/Information Security work across the world for large multinationals within the oil, mining and financial services organizations. Bevan has investigated cyber crimes across the world and has been involved in penetration testing exercises, both managing external parties and performing the tests.
He has extensive experience in international governance issues, security management, security audits and risk assessments and has assisted organizations in an outsourced security manager role. He has managed and directed large international security governance projects for his clients.
Bevan has worked throughout Africa, Europe and Asia and has presented papers at many conferences around the world and is quoted in various publications concerning information security issues. He is a qualified Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in IT Governance (CGEIT) and a BSI ISO lead auditor.
The Workshop assumes further importance in light of the current economic climate.
