The three-day forum shed light on challenges facing the launch of e-Government portals, e-governance, citizens' interactive role with e-Government programs, e-Government services, the best local, regional, and international e-Government experiences, technology solutions that can be applied to achieve excellence in the implementation of e-Government programs, and the best standards to apply to e-Government programs.
Moreover, specialized sessions were conducted to discuss the key issues and future directions in e-Government, as well as learn from e-Government practitioners and investigate the GCC e-Government market.
During the opening ceremony, the Patron, H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa presented STS with a Momento for sponsoring the Bahrain International e-Government Forum 2009.
Furthermore, as a strategic partner in the Bahrain e-Government project, STS mastered a praise-worthy job providing an overview presentation on STS history and business activities in the region, and informing the audience and visitors on the latest technological advancements in electronic services and solutions in its booth at the e-Government Expo.
Emphasizing the key role STS plays in sponsoring the event, Mr. Ramzi Zeine, STS Executive Chairman said
