The launch of the Mashhad destination direct from Bahrain marks the continued growth of Bahrain as a focus city, from which Jazeera currently operates three direct routes: Kuwait, Dubai and Sana'a. (Currently, no non-stops to SAH—they begin 1 June)
As well as demonstrating the airline's commitment to giving the region's travellers even more freedom to fly, the launch of the three new routes marks the start of significant network growth for the airline over the course of the next month; with a further 10 new routes from Kuwait already announced.
Jazeera Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, Steven Greenway commented;
"The launch of non-stop flights to Marsa Alam is a fantastic development not only for our passengers - presenting them with another exciting destination to enjoy traveling to - but it is also a significant step forward for our airline; bringing our total number of destinations served in Egypt to six. We are also highly confident that the convenient launch of the Mashhad routes from Beirut and Bahrain will offer leisure travellers the opportunity, for low fares, to experience the wonders of Mashhad."
"Strengthening our Bahrain focus city with this additional direct route and the 10 other new destinations already announced from Kuwait that will be launched in June; demonstrates the significant growth and expansion we are undertaking, which translates into more choice and better service, alongside our existing low fares, for serving passengers across the entire Middle East," Greenway concluded.
Flights from Kuwait to Marsa Alam, and Bahrain and Beirut to Mashhad, or flights to any of the airline's 23 other destinations, can be booked online.
Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travelers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
