WinSoft launches Adobe InDesign CS4 in Middle East

Almost 250 visitors attended the DDay and enjoyed the real value of the exhibition focusing on print, video, web, photography, and motion graphics.

The DDay lined up diverse experts of Design to give visitors the highest degree of input on exactly what makes it the best professional creative environment in the world. This event is the best place to share ideas, insights and experiences on subject matters pertaining to creativity and design.

WinSoft run two workshops on Middle Eastern features of Adobe products and Arabic typesetting tool.

Ashraf Kessaissia, Sales & Marketing local representative for WinSoft, presented live Tasmeem 4, the fine art of Arabic Typography. Several demonstrations unveiled the new functionalities offered by Tasmeem 4.

He revealed the new calligraphic and typographic Tasmeem fonts, widely used in the Arab and Persian World: Naskh and Nastaliq.

He also showed the main Tasmeem functionalities like word shaping, position tuner, and selection helper.

The second presentation, entitled the "InDesign Deep Dive", highlighted the Middle Eastern functionalities of the product: bi-directional text-flow, typographic support, among others.

Ashraf Kessaissia also demonstrated how to create powerful images with Photoshop ME and its advanced features for Arabic language.

"WinSoft workshops have been much appreciated and we collected positive feedbacks from the visitors," said Ashraf Kessaissia. "Visitors particularly appreciated to see live examples of what can be achieved with Tasmeem 4."

In addition, attendees could visit WinSoft Stand where its own products were showcased: InDesign and Photoshop CS4 ME, Tasmeem 4 but also the brand new FileMaker 10 ME.
