Fitch has also assigned a final senior unsecured 'A+' rating to $900m 6.5% 5-year notes due 10 June 2014 and $600m 7.875% 10-year notes due 10 June 2019, all issued under the GMTN programme.
The programme's final rating follows a review of its final terms and conditions which conform to the information already received when Fitch assigned the programme an expected 'A+' rating.
Qtel International Finance Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qtel. The final rating of the GMTN is in line with Qtel's Issuer Default Rating and senior unsecured rating of 'A+'.
The guarantee in respect of the notes constitutes direct, unconditional and unsecured obligations of Qtel and rank equally with all other unsecured obligations of Qtel.
The terms and conditions of the GMTN documentation include a change of control clause, a negative pledge clause and a cross default provision. English law is applicable.
