Their diversity illustrates the dynamism of one of the most emblematic areas of French industry. Amongst the new exhibitors is Glass Vallée, the largest cluster in the world of luxury glass bottle manufacturers.

This presence reinforces the reputation of the "Made in France" label in the Near and Middle East: since 2006, the United Arab Emirates has been one of the "Top 10" markets for the FEBEA (Federation of Beauty Businesses). In 2007, French exports of perfumes and cosmetics generated in excess of 9bn euros, confirming the supremacy and the image of one of the flagship French industries.

Glass Vallée, the largest cluster in the world of luxury glass bottle manufacturers, has made quite an entrance to the show, bringing four companies. It is responsible for more than 75% of the worldwide production of luxury glass bottles for perfumes, spirits or pharmaceuticals.

Wellness and spa products are an extremely popular sector and this is reflected in the presence of eight French companies exhibiting in Hall 6 (twice as many as last year). The range of products being exhibited includes equipment, ambient fragrances and treatment products for beauty institutes.

The Cosmetic Valley business cluster alone has brought 10 exhibitors to the show. It brings together more than 300 SME/SMIs, helping to contribute to the international awareness of the "Made in France" label.

This cluster is unique in its sector: some 200m perfumes and beauty products are manufactured there under some of the best known brand names in the world. Foreign groups have moved there too, clearly demonstrating that its attraction transcends international borders. Research is an intrinsic activity to this cluster which brings together 4 universities, 178 research laboratories, 134 testing centres and 5500 researchers.

In addition, the Hauts-de-Seine Chamber of Trade brings together six companies from the Greater Paris region, another leading area in the cosmetic sector.

With the exception of the Wellness & Spa exhibitors in Hall 6, the French contingent can be found in Hall 2. Ubifrance, the French Agency for International Business Development is pleased to welcome you at its stand in Hall 2-C-22
