Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, the ADU Chancellor, noted that the summer semester is being offered on request of students, particularly those who need to complete a certain amount of courses in order to graduate on time. Other students need to raise their cumulative GPAs, while others want to minimize their study load for the next semester.

The ADU Chancellor added that the university has completed all of its preparations for the beginning of the summer semester by conducting a comprehensive maintenance program of its facilities, labs, and classrooms.

Nevine Al Shoura, the ADU Registrar and Director of Student Services, pointed out that the university was keen on improving its student services by enabling students to register for courses online from their homes. They will also be able to view their grades and add or drop courses.
