The audience had the chance to see the company's latest products and solutions, including HD video conferencing, Digital Signage and display technology, as well as the latest additions to the business projectors range.
"The conference was a great way to debut some our newest and most innovative technology to our partners and potential customers in the Middle East. Many of the products were making their debut in the market and it was great to see so many people attend and receive impressive initial feedback on the solutions we have to offer,"
said David Bush, Marketing Director, Sony Professional.
New Technology on Display
Ziris Canvas
Making it's debut in the Middle East was Ziris Canvas - the latest in innovative digital video wall technology. With Ziris Canvas, Sony is breaking down the traditional video wall and building a new era of digital signage with limitless creative possibilities. It lets designers transform standard uniform screen layouts into artistic and eye-catching creations that really drive customer interest.
The Ziris Canvas wall can use a mix of different screen sizes and in a variety of layouts from portrait, landscape or arbitrary angled rotations to create random patterns on which to display images. The system allows an unlimited number of HD displays to play out content either individually or rendered across several screens at one time. Visitors to the event engaged with a football shaped video wall showing a range of video content.
Portable Projectors
Sony Professional exhibited its complete new range of portable projectors at the show, which includes the latest M series range, the flagship model in a growing range. Its slim and lightweight format is accompanied by rich design features making it the perfect choice for aspirational business executives and consumers. The MX25 model allows users to leave behind their laptops and simply plug-in and play their presentation via a USB port.
Aimed at small businesses and educational establishments, the new D series with its small form factor, is easily transported from room to room and has been designed to be an individual projector that ensures the quality of Sony technology, alongside portability and ease of use.
Finally, for the more cost-sensitive organization, the E series has been fully revamped to deliver stylish design and high quality technology for the entry-level market.
Home Cinema
The attendees enjoyed a hands-on demonstration of the consumer projector portfolio in the home theatre area, where content was played out using the award winning BRAVIA VPL -VW80.
"We hope the event has shown businesses how Sony Professional technology can help them communicate more effectively with their audiences. More importantly, we hope we have shown how images can be turned into strong business assets to inform, entertain but most importantly provide revenue" Bush concluded.
