Mena Telecom WiMAX now offered with built-in WiFi

Mena Telecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain, and the first company in the world to launch a nationwide WiMAX end-to-end (Wireless Broadband & Telephony network) using WiMAX 802.16e technology, has maintained its promise of offering its customers the latest technological innovations with its product offerings.

Mena Telecom is introducing a new WiMAX device that has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Customers can now wirelessly link multiple devices to the WiFi-enabled CPE throughout their premises. This will also provide savings to customers as they will not be required to buy wireless routers to achieve this.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH), representing KFH as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mena Telecom said:
