Manara Developments appoints main contractor for reclamation works of Wahat Al Muharraq project

The contract involves hydraulic reclamation of the 170,000 square meter project being developed in the progressive Muharraq waterfront area, and will create a vibrant residential masterplan offering retail facilities as well as civic amenities in addition to residential units in order to ensure a fully integrated and lifestyle-focused community.

Dr. Hasan Al-Bastaki, Manara's Managing Director, commented on the agreement, "We are pleased with the selection of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company as the main contractor for reclamation works on the Wahat Al Muharraq project. continued Dr. Al-Bastaki.

And with regards to the outline of the project, it was stated by Dr. Al Bastaki, "We are still at the stage of preparation of the draft master plan and the details of the project will be announced soon after obtaining the consent of the relevant authorities."
