Jazeera Airways Chairman arrives in Turkish resort of Antalya to officially launch Kuwait-Antalya route

Jazeera Airways Chairman Marwan Boodai today arrived in the Turkish resort of Antalya, to officially launch the new non-stop route operating twice a week between Kuwait and Antalya, during a press conference in the city.

Addressing the assembled media at the press conference, Boodai explained how Jazeera is the first low-fare airline in the region to offer non-stop flights to the stunning Mediterranean Turkish city, set on top of a hill, and that the airline will be operating flights every Thursday and Saturday, with one way fares.

"The fact that we are launching low-fare, non-stop flights to Antalya is great news for passengers across the Middle East region. A breathtaking coastal city, Antalya provides the perfect destination for those who want a change of scenery and a relaxing holiday, without travelling too far outside of the region. Our low fares and easy online booking will ensure that passengers can enjoy a relaxing weekend break or a long and relaxing holiday, in a beautiful destination."

said Boodai.

With a rich history stretching back to 200 BC, visitors can lose themselves in Antalya's winding streets alive with ancient Turkish and Greek history, or spend their days soaking up the temperate sunshine and enjoying the unending deep blue Mediterranean vistas or mountainous panoramas from the spectacular marina setting.

The launch of the new destination comes as part of Jazeera's recent network expansion, which will welcome an additional 13 new routes this summer to some of the region's most desirable holiday spots including Iran's beautiful city of gardens, Shiraz; the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo; and the picturesque Mediterranean resort of Larnaca in Cyprus. Tickets for the non-stop summer routes, as well as Jazeera Airways' 27 other destinations, are all available for a low price at jazeeraairways.com.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
