The three-day show, to be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between February 2 and 4, 2010, will provide the ideal springboard for the regional cosmetic market, which is witnessing strong growth trends in comparison to world markets.

According to market research, the cosmetics, perfumery and toiletry sectors have registered 12% year-on-year growth.

To be organised by Channels Exhibitions, Beauty Vision 2010 will showcase six unique concepts under one roof for the first time. These include Vision Retail, Vision Raw, Vision Hair, Vision Pharma, Vision Well-Being and Vision Professional.

It will bring together top suppliers of beauty products as well as industry professionals, reinforcing UAE's undisputed reputation as a strong trading and re-export hub.

Justin Boutros, CEO of Channels Exhibitions, said:
"Beauty Vision offers the perfect platform to serve the burgeoning cosmetics market in the Middle East, which has a huge market potential. In the UAE alone, the retail sales across the sector touched over $414m last year. Even in these very challenging times for businesses, the sector has witnessed unparalleled growth rates - largely because the consumers consider beauty products as necessities and are inelastic towards spending on cosmetics."

He added, "The future outlook also looks very bright, with the population estimated to touch 10 million by 2010. Amidst these very optimistic trends, we are confident that Beauty Vision 2010 will be the ideal networking opportunity to catapult the regional cosmetic sector to new levels of excellence."

The exhibition will redefine the latest trends in the beauty, wellness and spa sector and will involve interactive shows as well as live demonstration of various beauty concepts from participating companies.

It will provide a complete overview of the beauty industry and providing an annual shop window and unique networking opportunity for key buyers and influencers from the whole of GCC, Asia, North Africa, for CIS states and the Indian subcontinent.
