"The project is still modest and at an experimental stage and further improvements will be made with the support of Salam Bounian. Implanting the concept of replenish-able, clean and free energy sources into student's minds and practices and making them experiment with it is a very important step to make them feel and realize the facts, challenges and benefits that go along with such a quantum leap in respect of our current knowledge of sources of energy."
It can be said that the first step of a 1000 mile green energy journey among schools has been made by QIS in line with Qatar's vision and direction towards sustainable development, growth and expansion hoping that other schools will be triggered by this green initiative.
