In a bid to achieve this, the Ministry organised visits to UAE universities. Most recently, the ministry's IT department toured the Higher Colleges of Technology in Al Ain.

Mr Lootah reiterated that the MSFNCA keeps it doors open to all qualified UAE nationals as it strongly believes in exploring talent and potential amongst the local community. This can be accomplished through visits to the colleges and communicating with the students directly as it breaks the ice and establishes good relations by adopting innovative and efficient ways of recruitment.

He said that the visit to Al Ain is part of an integrated programme adopted by MSFNCA targeting national students studying in the UAE's universities. He explained that the ministry aims to meet with students and explain about job opportunities available at different departments.

The initiative comes in line with the UAE government's plans to strengthen the Emiratization process in the governmental sector and attract specialized UAE workforce.

The IT team at the MSFNCA led by Jamal Maddi, Director of the IT Department, visited Al Ain's HCT and held several meetings. They met the faculty and IT students and evaluated the curriculum and the specialized technological laboratories. The team presented a comprehensive explanation about the ministry's tasks, mission, directorates and divisions, particularly the IT department.

The ministry's team comprised Mr. Ibrahim Abdalla from governmental communication, Mr. Kamal Raja and Khadija Hashel from HR and Finance department.
