LG Electronics and Middle East Complex launch new air conditioning campaign

LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, and the Middle East Complex (MEC) recently announced the launch of a new air conditioning campaign, starting on June 2, 2009 for a duration of 3 months, focusing on expediency in air conditioning installation services.

In line with its continued efforts to meet customers' growing expectations and requirements, especially during the summer, LG doubled the size of its service fleet of trained and qualified Jordanian employees, allowing the Company to provide first-rate installation and maintenance services. Customers can now enjoy a cool and refreshing summer with LG's state of the art air conditioners.

Customers throughout the kingdom are able to benefit from this campaign, which will be not be limited to Amman, rather, providing national coverage. MEC is also relying on a new distribution system, leasing warehouses spread over several areas for a wider geographical reach, thus avoiding any delays, and facilitating easy distribution of air conditioners in markets and 48-hour installation.

To ensure customer satisfaction with this additional service, LG's own Customer Service Center will conduct follow-up calls (Happy Calls), and will undertake random and on the spot home visits to ensure that the installation and maintenance services are on par and meet with the customers' needs and standards.

From his end, the Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant, Mr. Kevin Cha said, "We, at LG Electronics, constantly strive to attain customer satisfaction through our campaigns, and this unique campaign, in particular, reflects our dedication to providing them with unparalleled services in record time."

He added, "The process of installing air conditioners in only 48 hours requires doubled efforts and increased resources -a small price to pay so that our customers can enjoy and luxuriate in comfortable and breezy surroundings this summer."

From his side, the Middle East Complex's Chairman of the Board, Mr. Osama Al Khalili, said, "It gives us great pleasure and pride to be part of this campaign with its astounding installation speed (48 hours) for new air conditioners which are, in turn, characterized by their diversity and versatility, enabling them to meet the different requirements of both households and offices."

Within this context, LG recently launched its new wall-mounted air conditioner, Titan, with the world's first cyclotron plasma and twin cooling technologies.
