PQFTL, ICAP sign Takaful agreement

Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan-ICAP have signed an agreement according to which all the members, students and employees of ICAP across the globe will be provided with an option of having Group Family Takaful protection through Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited ages between 18 up to 70 years.
According to this scheme, Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited would provide Takaful coverage in case of natural death, double takaful sum in case of accidental death, permanent disability (both due to Sickness as well as accident) up to a sum of Rs.2m.
It will be contributory / non-compulsory scheme where the participants are given a choice to pick benefit amount as per their desire and need.
Both ICAP & PQFTL will immensely benefit from the scheme, as Takaful being shariah compliant tool of mitigating risk would be a preferred way of saving and protection for the individuals attached to the profession of chartered accountancy, who would due to their religious mind set opt for a Halal alternate.
PQFTL can have awareness & penetration at a macro level where members & students of ICAP are sitting in top key positions in almost all the leading industrial/financial institutions of Pakistan as well as abroad running the wheel of economy.
