Tashyeed Properties Board of Directors visit Sukoon Tower

The project is executed by Tashyeed Properties wholly owned subsidiary, Tashyeed Construction Company (TASHCON) led by a professional and experienced engineering team.

This strategic progress review was carried out by the company's Board of Directors led by the Chairman, Dr. Kadhem E. Rajab comprising a team that included Vice-Chairman and Chairman of Executive Committee Mr. Salem Al Mannai, Managing Director and C.EO. Mr. Redha Rajab, Mr. Abdul Husain Dewani, Board of Director, Mr. Shawki Ali Fakhroo Board of Director, Dr. Faisal Al Nasir, Board of Director and Mr. Bashar Al Mutawa, Board of Director.

The Board expressed satisfaction over the Sukoon Tower project progress and commended the construction team for the progress of works.

Speaking on the occasion the Chairman Dr. Kadhem E Rajab stated:

"Despite the challenges faced in the market due to the financial crisis and the credit crunch Tashyeed Board is committed to the project and all efforts are being taken to complete the project as per timelines committed."

He also added that the project execution team consists of a number of specialized sub-contractors and engagement of hundreds of workmen on a daily basis managed by the construction management team.

Mr. Salem Al Mannai, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of Executive Committee of the company while discussing the strategic accomplishments of the project thus far stated, "We have concreted over 3000 cubic metres of concrete in one day during the casting of the corewall and thereafter have proceeded with significant pace leading up to completion of second floor level estimated before end of June, to be followed by progress of works for third floor level."

He continued by stating that The project is on track to be completed as per timelines committed to customers and added that the company's adherence to high quality engineering standards is evident from the work practices adopted at site.

He concluded by saying that, "Strict safety measures are being adopted to ensure the safety of all construction management, staff and workmen engaged at site as well as other visitors to site."

Mr. Shawki Ali Fakhro, Board of Director of the company during the visit stated that, "We are very satisfied with the current progress at site, and are extremely pleased with the overall standard of construction, high quality has always been an important aspect that we thrive to have at Sukoon Tower, and our construction Team have not only met this standard but have surpass our expectations."

Mr. Abdul Husain Dewani, Board of Director of the company added, "Customers are paramount for the Board of the company and customer's interests are always accorded the number one priority during Board's decision making process."

Sukoon Tower is a forty five storey twin residential tower project consisting of 592 apartments, with dedicated landscaped recreation floor in the sixth level, health club and other state of art facilities.

Sukoon tower also has large outdoor pools for adults and kids and indoor pool attached to health club. The project has in-house indoor and outdoor cafeterias, multipurpose hall, with vast landscaped area for outdoor activities. The project is family oriented with state of art security systems, centralized air rconditionining through chillers all controlled by Building Management System.

Vertical transportation within the tower will be served by eight high speed elevators controlled by Building Management System. The project also has a helipad in the roof.
