Laila Suhail, CEO of DSF Office, said:
"The DSF Office team was presented with a huge challenge in organizing DSS 2009 especially with concerns about the impact of the economic crisis. Nevertheless, this iconic summer event is here and our cooperation with private sector entities will see that visitors and residents have an unbeatable summer holiday in Dubai."

"The core concepts of DSS remain the same but we have put an innovative touch to every concept be it shopping, family entertainment, winning, or even leisure. This edition has been the result of extensive research based on feedback from visitors of last year's DSS and we are sure that the difference will be visible," she added.
