Huawei and Etisalat also signed an agreement for further collaboration between the companies and to enhance Etisalat's service offerings to its customers. Under this agreement, as a strategic partner, Huawei will continue to support Etisalat's global expansion in the future.

Following the strategic partnership agreement signed in May, 2008, Etisalat and Huawei held the first Etisalat-Huawei Summit this year to review the partnership and explore more areas for co-operation.
