Dubai Media Incorporated sweeps nine awards at Promax Arabia 2009

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), one of the pioneering media organizations and creative services group in the Middle East, today announced it has swept the Promax Arabia 2009 awards, garnering coveted honours in nine categories.

Dubai One topped the winners' list, capturing six gold and silver awards for 'Best Sound Design' (Silver), reflecting DMI's musical and technical proficiency; 'Best Editing' (Silver), showcasing technical expertise in combining audio with visuals; 'Best Copy/Scriptwriting' (Gold and Silver) and 'Best Use of English Typography' (Gold) through DMI's ability to innovate and handle scripts with excellence; 'Best Movie Promo' (Gold and Silver), in addition to Rocket Award (Gold), all reflecting the vital role of innovation in the marketing and promotional sectors in the overall broadcasting field.

Dubai TV, meanwhile, scored a remarkable accomplishment by winning the award for 'Best Use of Original Music Composition' (Gold) in 'Mashaheer' (Celebrities) that is aired by the channel and presented by Diala Makki.

DMI's rich haul of awards are an outcome of its extensive endeavour towards the improvement and development of all media segments through a strategy that aims to enhance human skills while focusing on content standards.

Promax Arabia celebrates outstanding achievements of television production in the fields of promotion, marketing and design, which are aired or distributed in the Arab region during the period from January to February 2009.
