Sahara Centre unveils rewarding summer promotion 2009

This year's 'Sahara Summer Promotion' will run from June 13th to Aug 15th.

Sahara Centre has announced the 'Sahara Cash' raffle for the first time. The shoppers have a chance to win worth of gift vouchers for every purchase at the mall during the promotion period.

And with each purchase the customer is allowed to take only one cash coupon. This promotion is linked to a purchase and not to a minimum amount spent in the mall. Every week, two winners will walk away with 'Sahara Cash'.

Adding to the excitement, every shopper at any outlet at Sahara Centre will be eligible to take part in the car raffle for two Nissan Muranos. The car raffle will be conducted twice during the two- month promotion.

Close on the heels of the tremendous response to our recent 'Wish List' promotion that fulfilled the wishes of our customers, we have decided to reward our customers again by giving them an opportunity to shop and win with "What will you buy with your 'Sahara Cash?' promotion. We aim to create a niche place for Sahara Centre in the minds of our shoppers as we continue to promote and design interesting and exciting activities for them."

Commenting on the summer promotion, Rima Chammas, Marketing Manager, Sahara Centre, said, "In our quest to re-define the concept of shopping at Sahara Centre and at the same time rewarding our shoppers, we have designed a unique retail event that will cater to varied shopping and entertainment needs."

On popular demand, the professional Lebanese basketball team - the 'Crazy Dunkers' will be back in action in the mall. The Dunkers will perform daily, throughout July. Another added feature this year is the performance by the renowned acrobatic and gymnastic Double Dutch group by Ebene from France. This group will showcase its famed skipping rope tricks and gymnastics stunts.

The first 'Sahara Cash' raffle will be held in the mall at 7:00pm on June 21st followed by the others on 28th June, 5th , 12th , 19th, 26th July, 2nd and 9th Aug, while the raffle draws for the cars will be held on July 12th and Aug 15th, respectively. The raffles will be held in the presence of a representative from the Sharjah Economic Department.

"The customers should collect their cash coupons from the customer service desk of the mall and completed forms should be dropped into the raffle collection box near the desk. The draws for the 'Sahara Cash' raffle will be held every week and the raffle boxes will be emptied for each draw creating more chances of winning," added Rima.

The winners of the cash raffles are entitled to spend their vouchers within a limited period in the mall. The entire value of the Sahara cash vouchers must be redeemed before the following Saturday after each draw. Re-scheduling of the redemption date will not be permitted. The Sahara gift vouchers are also not convertible to cash and are non-transferable.
