Mr. Steve Allen, the Senior Vice-President of EMEA will be attending this premium IT exhibition in the region, where BEA along with its seven partners will demonstrate the WebLogic Platform 7.0.

The BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 is the industry's first software infrastructure product to unify, simplify and extend all aspects of enterprise application development and integration, and to provide a common platform to easily build and deploy Web services. Designed to provide customers with a single architecture for the development, integration and customization of enterprise software, the BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 unites and integrates the BEA WebLogic Server 7.0, BEA WebLogic Portal 7.0, BEA WebLogic Integration 7.0 and BEA WebLogic Workshop, thus providing businesses with the underlying application infrastructure required in today's IT environments.

"Leading business organizations today are on the lookout for an integrated solution that meets all enterprise application requirements through a single framework, as this facilitates the development of cost-effective systems that can be incorporated into a workflow," said Diyaa Zebian, Business Development Manager, eSolutions BEA. "The BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 which features an integrated application server combined with development, portal and integration frameworks, allows us to enhance customer satisfaction, improve revenue opportunities and achieve higher levels of operational efficiency."

eSolutions BEA, which opened a regional office at Dubai Internet City two years ago, will be using the GITEX platform to demonstrate the WebLogic Platform's superiority over other systems and seek out new customers in the region. The BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 has an open extensible architecture which offers the user unmatched freedom to choose products and solutions from a wide range of vendors.

"We are looking at the Middle East as an important market for our products, especially the BEA WebLogic Platform, that is being adopted by several leading international and regional companies to automate processes and expand solutions," said Zebian. "In view of the large potential, we are launching a regional support center to express our full commitment to the local market. We are confident that the platform that has made such a difference to the application infrastructure market globally, will find many customers in the region."

"The BEA WebLogic Platform 7.0 equips businesses with the appropriate application infrastructure needed for running today's IT environments," he added. "It is designed to provide businesses with a unified and mission-critical platform to optimize IT investments, increase employee productivity and reduce the overall cost of linking applications with suppliers, customers and partners."

"One of the benefits of the WebLogic Platform 7.0 is that the application developer does not need to have expertise in Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) unlike other platforms. Companies who have tried out our platform are convinced that BEA WebLogic Platform provides the most dynamic solution for integrating internal systems," Zebian added.
