Speaking on the subject, Mr. Ali bin Salim Al Mahmoud, General Manager of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, said:
"The objective of the Joint Roles Meeting is threefold. The department seeks to establish mutual working standards that will drive the institutional sector to work as a team, while also finding suitable solutions for creating a more simplistic work environment. Furthermore, the department seeks to set up transparent and accessible communication channels between the various government institutions in order to create the perfect business environment, one that will help achieve a higher growth rate for the emirate of Sharjah."
Numerous governmental and non-governmental institutions are set to participate in the meeting, including the Sharjah Naturalization and Residency Department, Sharjah Municipality, Civil Defense Department, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emirates Communication Establishment, Ministry of Labor, and the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shorouq), Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA), and Sharjah Town Planning and Survey Department (STPS).
